ANOMALOUS is his debut in the world of feature length film as a director and screenwriter. A psychological thriller shot between New York and Barcelona and starring Lluis Homar, Christy Escobar, Edgar Fox, Adria Arjona and Ben Temple.
As a writer for film, he has sold several different feature length screenplays.
To date he has written and directed four short fiction films: El Sótano, Hilo de melancolía, Stand by and Te mato… He also participated in composing the soundtracks for two of his shorts. In the short documentary film genre he directed Tío Jess, a piece about filmmaker Jesús Franco, which was preselected for the 2013 Goya Awards.
He has made several making-of videos, two of the most outstanding being for the films Amador, by Fernando León de Aranoa, and DIDI Hollywood, by Bigas Luna.
With his first novel The Lighthouse of Lost Tears he was a finalist for the 2010 Minotauro Award (Planeta Group’s International Fantastic and Science Fiction Novel Award). In 2016, he will be publishing his second novel, based on his film and that will have the same title: Anomalous.
In addition to working as a director for advertising and music videos, he was also a member of the directing crew on films like The Perfect Crime, by Alex de la Iglesia, Lola by Miguel Hermoso, Alatriste by Agustín Díaz Yanes or Lope, produced by Antena 3.
He is currently in the pre-production phase of his second feature length film as a director and screenwriter to be shot in 2016, the science fiction thriller Broken Voices.
